It is a brioche crown scented with orange blossom and adorned with candied fruits: Cherry, Apricot, Melon, Orange, Lemon, Clementine, … to look like a crown adorned with precious jewels!
The tradition of the Epiphany dates back to the end of the 14th century when the first kings raffle was made by the Popes, lovers of candied fruit, settled in Avignon.
Candied Fruits became part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2018, thanks to this famous delicacy appreciated by all and proof of a unique and ancestral know-how.
